If you want better performance, consider in sysctl values, such as sh# sysctl net.inet.tcp.sendspace=65535 sh# sysctl net.inet.tcp.recvspace=65535 it should change to apropriate values better if you put it into sysctl.conf file under /etc and after restart it should be applied automatically or enter commands above without restarting unix... and try again! default send frame size values ar 2x smaller that it is availble, butt, there is possible instability use at your own risk, verify, if all goes, it should working better that it was previously.
